Currency exchange (conversion) is the transfer of money between currency sections of the same wallet.
You can exchange money if your funds are held in different currency sections. This is necessary in order to withdraw the entire balance of the e-wallet, since the withdrawal of funds is available only via one transaction.
The exchange is done instantly at the internal ePayments exchange rate, and is available in currencies USD, EUR and RUB.
To access the currency exchange option, you need to:
- Go to the Payments and Transfers section;
- Choose the Between your accounts tab;
- To fill in the following entry fields:
The currency section of the ePayments wallet from which you transfer the funds
The currency section of the ePayments wallet to which you transfer the funds
The amount you want to transfer.
The currency of the amount corresponds to the currency section of the wallet specified in the From account field.
When filling in the Transfer amount field, the system will calculate the value in the Received amount field automatically.
The amount that will be updated in the desired currency section.
The currency of the amount corresponds to the currency section of the wallet specified in the To account field.
When filling in the Received amount field, the system will calculate the value in the Transfer amount field automatically.
The exchange rate and commission are displayed on the left side of the transfer form (in the orange block).
After that, click Next, check whether the data entered in this form is correct, and click Transfer.
Please note that if you have exchanged currency and the confirmation window has been open for more than five minutes, you will receive a pop-up notification that the exchange rate is out of date (“Exchange rate has been updated” message), and you will be automatically moved to the data entry step. In this case, the exchange rate is updated automatically, and you will need to proceed to the confirmation step again.
When the transfer is done, you’ll receive email and pop-up notification about the result.
You may see the message: “Amount transferred exceeds available balance”, it means that your balance is too low to complete the operation. Please enter a transfer amount that does not exceed your eWallet balance.
